CORRECTIVE COLOR with Eric Lindsey & Laura Holmes

Many colorists tend to over-think and over-complicate the challenges of a color correction. After taking this course you will have a better understanding of corrective color principals. Eric and Laura will show you how to incorporate balayage to create balance with the shortest and most effective routes.

BALAYAGE WITH AN OMBRE FOCUS with Laura Holmes

CREATIVE ART WITH CUT & COLOR – Donna & Steven Cristobal

This class will help you with “creating movement” via simple techniques like micro-cutting, carving and customized inner cutting.  Learn a practical approach to designing hair with precision cutting techniques enhanced with dimensional coloring techniques.  Detract or enhance personal features using artistic design elements.  We’ll show you how to work with and incorporate the personality of the hair into your cut and color while individualizing your finished look.

KHARISMA ACADEMY GUEST ARTISTS Steven and Donna Cristobal have been designing hair together for the past 20 years. Their approach is to capture the personality of the hair as well as to complete the direct link between the marriage of the cut and the color. For the past 10 years they have been National Artists for L’Oreal Professionnel, sharing their simple approach to design with the industry they love.  They currently own The Studio hair salon in Broomfield, Colorado, a private sanctuary where guests can leave with a comfortable feeling toward life.  The salon also functions as the foundation for educational offerings. They look forward to you joining them on this journey and taking your profession to the next level.

BIG CITY REDS with Chad Gunn  
August 5th, 2013 — $200.00

Master those fiery manes and be able to create soft, natural or rock and roll reds. You will learn the “double dip” as well as other techniques to suit any aspiring redhead that sits in your chair.

KHARISMA ACADEMY GUEST ARTIST Chad Gunn is an award-winning stylist who has practiced for more than 20 years. He has styled hair in Beverly Hills, New York and Dallas, Texas with areas for specialty in color and chemical procedures. Chad is a Balayage expert and a member of the L’Oreal Professionnel Balayage Team. He also specializes in Yuko Japanese Hair Reconditioning (straightening).

For 10 years, Chad worked at the famous Giuseppe Franco Salon in Beverly Hills and still travels there to work. He has been a Portfolio Artist/Balayage Artist for L’Oreal Professionnel for 15 years and teaches at the L’Oreal Professionnel Academy in New York City. He also teaches nationally for L’Oreal Professionnel.

BEGINNING BALAYAGE with Eric Lindsey

Discover the world of balayage through this 4-hour introductory class. Eric will teach how to work with the natural movement of hair to create beautiful, natural, dimensional highlights. This method is a “less-is-more” approach to creating highlights with natural outgrowth and little to no maintenance. Once you have completed this course, you’ll be prepared to experience our Balayage Advanced courses.

KHARISMA ACADEMY ON THE ROAD — Do you have a busy schedule but still need color education? We understand that not everyone will be able to attend all official classes. As a solution, we offer, in addition to our listed classes, a custom course program: Kharisma Academy on the Road. To fit your needs, not only will you get to choose the type of class (Balayage, color correction and other fundamentals), you’ll have Kharisma Academy taught at the comfort of your own salon.
